I've always been a fan of Damien Hirst’s spot paintings. Recreating his spot paintings for the web was a way of creating "master copies" and practicing HTML and CSS. In this piece, I only used colors from the 147 extended color keywords list as a way to tie this work to the web as a digital medium. You can see Hirst’s original spot painting here.
